The year 2020 was a never-ending river of bad news, when Charlie, a marketing assistant from Chicago, decides to quarantine in rural America at his grandma's house, he’s greeted by Dee, a local townie who has been acting as a caretaker for his Grandma. What follows is an unexpected bond between two strangers learning to forgive, grieve, and maybe even heal.

In a remote cabin deep in the woods, a blindfolded stranger known only as V joins a team of hapless patriots counting ballots from a recent election. As paranoia mounts and identities crumble under the watchful eyes of a foreboding manager, a silent guard, and a mysterious machine called "The Bloodhound," the group races against time and each other to complete their task before democracy slips through their fingers.
